Looking Back

It's hard to believe that we are getting ready to enter our third year of doing the Marburger Farms show in Texas. It is truly the most awesome thing I have ever done as an antiques dealer. I have seen the most fabulous treasures that I would have never seen here in Florida, I have met some of the nicest people ever , and made some life~long pals even though we only see each other twice a year.

The first show we did in the Spring of '08 was definitely our learning curve. We pulled in with no clue and it showed. Thanks to our new friends who loaned us some of the set~up tools we needed, we pulled it off.

Here is a look back at our Spring '08 booth...

Our Fall '08 show went a little more smoothly, but we still had some lessons to learn. I was starting to move away from the country look we had in the Spring, to the more French Farmhouse look that I have now...

Spring '09 came and went. I continue to refine my look...

And finally, we have the Fall '09 booth which I feel is my best ever. It even made the cover and inside of PORCH magazine...

I can't wait to show you my Spring 2010 booth. I've come a long way since our first time at Marburger, and I hope to just get better and better...

Each booth..each year...simply beautiful. I am so amazed at all of the Talent in Texas.

Some of us Cali girls are so behind....I would feel like a fish out of water.

I am hoping either next year or the year after...Texas shows are on my wish list!

Well, my friend, I think you did a great job even from the first get go, but it's always nice to see what new ideas you have up your sleeve! Counting the days to be able to see you and sweet pea hubby!

Shelley,
Your booths absolutly blow ME AWAY! I have that issue of Porch, & I bought it because of your awesome display. You rock hard sister! I could just cry that I'm not going to see you in the Spring. I have 3 trips planned at that time, bummer. I will be there in the fall tho & we are going to have some fun! Lisa

Hello
It all looks fabulous to me! But you are right, looks change and a lot of it depends on what is available also. I hate it when stuff I like and always used in my displays become too popular and the price goes up so high you can't resell it anymore.
I am going to the show this year! I hope to shop your booth.
Blessings
Rebecca

Cruising your blog pics is truly a treat! Your styling is amazing and that, coupled with your eye for all that is fabulously rusty and chippy is to die for!!!
