So I should have gone to bed long ago, as we have to get up at 4am and drive 2 and 1/2 hours to the show in Arcadia but I have been watching the telethon for Haiti. I made my $100 pledge and actually bumped it up a bit. Did you watch? Did you give?
I was one of the callers who got to talk to a celebrity! I talked with Debra Messing of Will and Grace and many movies. She was very sweet. It was hard to talk because I was very emotional about the children who are alone and scared and hungry. Imagining my grandbabies in that situation. If you can give, please please do. Even a little. As Stevie Wonder told his caller tonight, "A lot of littles equals alot".
Amen.

How great! I watched. Thanks for giving! I have a connection to a orphanage there so I am sending money to them. The lady there really wants the walls back. It makes me feel silly that I miss having little things like soda some days when I cannot even imagine what it would be like to go 10 days with little to no food or water. I too have a hard time with the sweet little ones who need or have just lost their families. Go to bed!
Hugs, Lisa
I did watch and in addition to a donation, plan to buy the music on itunes. :-) I had trouble watching it without tears... Tami
Much like you I get emotional and give way to tears. My husband and I went another route in giving...it is true alot of a little equals a lot ...
perfectly said.
It's good to know that we are doing what we can where we can.
I just watched it, it was very good, wonderful musicians and the footage and stories had me all teary. I hope they come out with a DVD or CD of the show. I did contribute. It is awesome you got to talk to a celebrity, I often wonder how many people really do during those telethons....I texted a friend and told her I wish I could adopt a Haitian orphan...feel so sorry for the children.
Yes, we watched and we gave. It was so moving.
