MY TEENY KITCHEN

I really don't think I've ever shown pics of my teeny galley kitchen, so now that I have replaced the old stove and given one of the walls a dramatic facelift I wanted to share it with you. I was inspired by a post at MY SWEET SAVANNAH a while back which was the catalyst for the wall's new look. Let me know what you think...

What do I think??? It's fabulous- looks like a picture from a magazine.

I just purchased a set of chalkboards from Pottery Barn for my son and daughter-in-law for their kitchen.

It's darling, Shelley!
You don't need a lot of space to pack in a lot of style.

Shell, your kitchen may be small (it's actually bigger than mine), but it's packed full of charm! Love the walls too.

I love everything about it. The chalkboard wall really gives it some depth and oomph. The sink and skirt, the header above the door...wonderful! Glad you finally shared it!

Very cool! I love how this turned out. I need to find a place to have another chalkboard. The one I hav is in the hallway and really hard to get a good photo of even though my girls are constantly drawing new things on it.

Great addition to any kitchen.

Take care,

Kathleen

I LOVE it, Shelley! I knew as soon as I read the title of your post that I was in for a treat... because you never disappoint. :) For such a small kitchen, you've packed it full of character and charm, yet it still looks sophisticated... just lovely!! Now you've got me wondering which wall I can put some chalkboard paint on. Thanks for the inspiration!
Happy WW my friend!

Love the chalkboard wall... I wanted to paint an old fridge with the Green Chalkboard paint and then frame it in with salvage chippy lumber... alas, could only find the Black Chalkboard paint so I scrapped the whole idea... but I knew my Grandkids would love the concept of having a fridge that could be written upon and have notes/messages to each other.

Shelley,
Good job girl! Didn't see the before but I think it's very you. I'd like to try the chalk board thing. I'd have to improve my penmanship first. Lisa
