SO LONG MY FRIEND

My childhood friend Pam lost her battle and passed today around 5pm...

    I lost my dear friend Feb, 16th this year. Was at her side as she took her last breath. Still hurts to think of it. Have had several opportunites to honor her rememberance and that helps.

    I attended a funeral service on Monday. I met Terry when I was nine years old and for the next fifteen years we were inseparable, we even had our children 2 months apart...unfortunately life got in the way and we grew apart..the last time I saw her was 7 yrs. ago and we only spoke briefly... I was notified of her passing over the weekend and I walked around numb and in disbelief for the next couple of days...she left behind 4 children(the youngest 17)Terry was only 47. At her funeral I asked if another friend that we grew up with had been notified and I was informed the she too had died a year earlier from Lupus. It still hasn't completely sunk in. I FEEL your pain and I'm sorry for your loss.
