And so I still don't feel as though my head is above water yet after being away for nearly two weeks, but I didn't want to make you wait any longer for pics from the show. My show ended up being okay, not my worst but nowhere near my best. Not many decorators or designers, no heavy hitter buyers and a tough market for larger pieces. But I am grateful for what I sold, and at a show like Marburger I sometimes feel like it's a miracle that I sell at all. Stiff competition for sure.
Hope you enjoy the pics of my booth. The centerpiece was much better in person than the pic. I hung an old iron swing frame from the peak of the tent with a pretty chandy to add some sparkle. Below was a collection of garden urns in iron and concrete filled with ferns. The backdrop was three old screen doors hinged together and draped with a lace curtain and an old frame.

just amazing how it all comes together.

You have me here drooling! Your booth is absolutely beautiful. Sorry it wasn't the best show ever, I guess the economy is bad right now. I'm having a show for mother's day, hopefully it's good, I have put a lot in to it and have hope.
Have a nice day!

It all looks wonderful Shelley. that swing is just amazing. I cannot imagine all the work that goes into this, you do it so so well!
Glad you survived!
Debra
Thank you for sharing your pics and for being candid about your selling experience. It is helpful for buyers and vendors to know first hand how a vendor REALLY fared at a show. They may not always be truly successful, but the effort made is what really counts!!! Love your blog! Cheers...Agnes
Wow what a beautiful booth. So many gorgeous things beautifully presented. I sure wish I could go to Marburger.
You have some very nice stuff, I would have definetely bought from you.

Looks like a lot of work just getting set up. I hope you did good enough to make it worth the hardwork it took just getting set up. I would of loved to have been there to shop your booth! Thanks for the Picture. :)

Oh my your booth looked spectacular. Sorry you did not do better. I think the economy is effecting everything right now. Looking over your items it looks like you had some really great items. It must take a lot of work setting it all up. ~~Sherry~~

Oh my, you really know what to do with all that beautiful stuff. The iron furniture is so wonderful! I know you are considered stiff competion by anyone's standards.
Just gorgeous! Really, beautifully presented. I loved your hanging windows and mirror vignette! Someday I'll make it to Marburger, until then I'll live vicariously through others! ~Brooke
Simply fabulous! You have a wonderful vision, Shelley. I, like the others, am amazed at how you can collect all these treasures and then take them all and put together this fabulous space. We can't even imagine the time it takes to put it all together. You must travel with all the props...even the Florida Spanish moss! Glad you had a good show...I hope to see it all with my own eyes one day. Hope to see you around. denise
P.S. Have you considered setting up at the Fancy Flea with your left-overs?
It's all so gorgeous Shelley!!! I would have loved to see it all in person, taking my time and examining each and every thing! I hope you're getting much needed rest girl ~ hugs and love, Dawn
Hi Sweet friend!
Your displays are amazing as always!
So much inspiration...I wish it had been a better show from the selling side though.
I was thinking about you while you were away...I am so glad you are home! (I bet the grandkids are too!)
Have a blessed evening
Hugs,
Donna
love your junk!
Your booth looks awesome! I love your style and know first hand what work goes in to setting up and then tearing down! Deidra and I did it for over 2yrs. in Canton before we moved to our present location where we can leave it all and lock the doors! Your effort was well worth it...love it all!

Love the setup...That show is on my "bucket list"! Do you still have the retro wall clock? My cousin collects those and would love one similar...Tiff from The Cranky Queen

Were you in the first row of tents, kind of towards the main road? Your booth looks familiar, but I'm sure you sold a lot by the time I got there on Friday. It looks beautiful! ~Roberta

Shelley sorry to hear it wasn't your best show. It must be all the competition. A place like Brimfield could use a talent like you.
