Can you imagine a job where you traveled the globe in search of unique, funky and fabulous stuff for Anthropologie? Well, Keith Johnson can and does, and you can watch him every Wednesday night at 10pm EST on the Sundance Channel on Man Shops Globe. I got inspired to pay a visit to my local Anthropologie and see what Keith had found...

Yes, that would be a wonderful job. I enjoy Anthropolgie's displays. Always something new and creative. One could say "flirty." P.S. Love your blog, glad I found it.
Oh glory! I am a "picker" but not of his caliber! Wouldn't that be the greatest job evah!

I've only been once but when I went I did some really damage to my wallet...but it was all worth it. I wish we had one closer really. They carry alot of the things that a regular gift shop would which is why it's so great! I don't get the sundance channel! boo hoo!
Hope you had fun!

Oh how I love this store Shelley. I don't have one very close (140 miles) but that's probably as close as it should be, because I LOVE THIS STORE! I enjoyed all your pictures of their great stuff. SO glad you made the trip.
Hugs,
June
Hey Shelley, I went to Anthropologie last weekend for the first time. You featured two of my favorite things...the hanging wire light, and that gorgeous french mirror (even on sale at over 1/2 off....still how many thousands?). It was a feast for the eyes!
We'll see you this weekend...we're going to put a few things in with Shawn....(oh, green & cream stepback...please sell). I'll be there Saturday.
xxoo

Pardon my language, but I am *such* an Anthropologie ho! I could live there, quite honestly. I'm bummed that I don't get the Sundance Channel, though.
Great photos!

I did not know about that show! I need to watch it, imagine a show about what I love best...digging around for treasures. I get soooo much inspiration from Anthro, I'm sure many do. Great pics. Lisa
OOhhh! I want to go there!

Yes. I want that job!!! I would even do it for free, all the best,Chrissy
I just watched the second episode and man do I wanna be his personal assistant on the next trip!!!
I LOVE all of the treasures he finds and his knowledge of artists and fabulous places!!!
You have been on my feed reader since I started reading blogs. Your 2 Theresas are my angels. I love them both. I am going to steal Ms. Smith and drag her away to NYC and to Paris one of these days! Thank you for visiting my site and congratulations on your cover of Porch,
How did you ever get the photos? At mine they will almost chase you from the store with a broom! I have even asked very politely and ben told NO!
SO happy to see your photos. I am one of the lucky ones. Mine is literally 2 blocks from my front door. Whenever I'm blue I walk up there and wander around a bit, and get inspired. I always always have one of their orchid candles burning in my studio.
Happy Holidays!
Suzan
Recently discovered that show, love it and am totally jealous of his job! ;0) Love the store too and always walk away with loads of inspiration even if I didn't buy a thing. Blessings, Katy
