The first time I walked into the shop called French Nest, I thought I was back at the Marburger Farms show in Texas. This charming little slice of heaven is so reminiscent of some of my favorite booths there that it literally transported me back to the show. Thankfully this shop is local and I can haunt it at will. Owned by Marsha Stokes and Edwina Carlisle, it is a gorgeous mix of all that is vintage and romantic with a touch of rust and crust that I truly adore. I do hope you will drop by and say hello the next time you are in College Park and tell them Sweet Pea says hello. Enjoy the pics...

I will definitely have to visit this beautiful shop next time I go home to FL! I just found your site, and have must have been in your shop in the past! Nancy
Hi there, I have just found your blog via google whilst I was trawling for antique shops in Orlando. My family and I are visiting soon, (mainly for the parks) but I was hoping to do a little snooping around the shops. I have put French Nest on my list, but was wondering if you could suggest any other shops...I love French/Scandinavian style antiques, also anything industrial. I'm off to explore your older posts. Hope to hear from you soon. Robx
Hi, I'm back again...love your blog...your home is lovely and I see you have a shop, I'm assuming it's in a larger antique mall...you've definitely got me feeling that I need a 'pop of industrial'. I had already seen something about Renningers...is it worth a look? Also, I forgot to mention that I would love to take some photos of old restored (possibly Victorian) homes to include on a post on my blog...can you recommend a neighbourhood. Thanks so much. Robx
