IT'S GOT POTENTIAL...

What is it about a deconstructed chair that makes me weak in the knees?

Remember this one that I found and kept about a year or so ago?

The best part is it's one of a pair... Yes, I know the burlap and horsehair is itchy, but they are like works of art to me and I keep them where they aren't sat upon.

I digress...

In November I found this beauty...

Not in this deconstructed state, mind you. It still had it's original green upholstery and being as I'm not a green person and the fabric was a bit worse for the wear, I started removing it. I have to say it is amazing the amount of labor that went into this baby.

But it's got potential...

I'm thinking antique grain sack upholstered and the original finish left intact.

You'll have to wait and see if this one makes it to the Spring show at MARBURGER.

  5. Hi! So nice to be able to tell my family that its not just me. I love the second chair, the detail in the wood is lovely. I used to get chairs like that and use them as is also; creating a cute corner with my teddy bear collection and comfy throw. Just artsy piece and not for sitting. I'm new follower and hope you'll stop by and visit when you get a chance. Found you via Dear Lillie's blog.
