CAN YA HELP A SISTA OUT?

Help wanted!

For some time now I've been unable to "follow" any new blogs I've started reading.
I click the "follow" button on the blog. Then I select "google" to sign in under my account.

And thus begins the circle of the above actions. I have even reset my password.

Still can't follow any new blogs.

Frustrated...

Anyone else having this issue with blogger?
Can ya help a sista out?

  1. Well,,,,not sure this will work but it's certainly worth a try.

When you go to sign in....is the box "keep me signed in" already marked with a check mark??

If so, uncheck the box, continue on with your password and see if that works. I had a problem being unable to leave a comment and this worked....I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya sista!!!

  2. I might have had that same problem before. Sometimes I can't follow by clicking, but I can go to the top of the post where the word FOLLOW is written across the top of the post. When I click there, I've been able to join. Maybe that will help you. I hope so. I know how frustrating Blogger can be.

  3. Thank you Grammy Goodwill, you are right! Okay so I will do that instead of selecting the one where you see all the followers. Thank you again!

  11. I think sometimes it depends on the browser, I have an Apple (Imac) and I use Safari and Firefox, Safari is like explorer and doesn't always work so then I try Firefox and it does so I would say try a different browser and see if that works... good luck Hugs Marilou PS Firefox works on all computers and has a free download

  12. Hi..Lap Dog Knits has the right idea..that worked for me! If not, just sign in the comment as 'anonymous' and make sure your name is in the comment box so the person can find you or will know who commented..if you want them to know!

  13. I can't help you with anything techie (and it looks like you're resolved, yay!), but I happened to see your post on Robin's blog about vegan wine. I'm guessing you probably know about barnivore.com, but just in case you don't, it's a great site. On my blog we also do "Vine and Dine" and we'd love you to join us. If you don't feel quite up to speed, your might enjoy my articles at onegreenplanet.org

  14. I make it a habit to copy and manually paste the URL's of sites I want to follow into my Google Reader. Just click on "Add a Subscription" in the top, left corner of your Reader page and enter what you want. Works for me every time.

  15. New follower on your blog today... I can't really help much with your problem other than to say I've had the same thing happen to me and it is really frustrating! LOL I've gotten to where I just keep my blogger dashboard pulled up in a separate tab and just add new blogs to my list that way instead of wasting my time clicking "follow" on someone's blog. Seems to work for me... :-)

  17. My understanding is that Google is going to be rebranding and updating Blogger, so I guess they aren't going to fix things under the current version. What I've started doing is signing in as soon as I access my blog, without checking the little box, and this has made it so I can comment without a whole lot of hassle. It's great the we help each other by spreading the word about stuff like this ... otherwise, we'd all be sitting at home, frustrated, banging on our computers, alone.
