The Reveal

Remember the story about the Eastlake dresser from craigslist? Well after many hours of re~assembling and painting, painting, painting, here she is in all her new found glory. I don't normally like to paint old furniture but this piece just screamed cottage white.

  3. I think it's beautiful either way! Am I one of the very few that still love Eastlake furniture? It doesn't sell well here at all. Went to an antique show a few years ago and there was a PINK Eastlake dresser, marble top but too pricey for unemployed me at the time. I'm still kicking myself! Great job as usual - love it!

  12. Oh I just love it. It did want to be white. I think that Eastlake detail really pops painted like that. Ooh, deja vu, big time. I just picked up 2 Eastlake pieces myself..probably part of some built-in. I bet I paint them too.
