In addition to my antique linen collection I also have an affinity for anything made from old linens, anything with a ruffle and anything made from high quality linen fabric. Hence the pillow collection featuring linen pillows from Carolyn Westbrook Home (used to carry these in my shop), a pillow made from vintage nightgowns that says Home Sweet Home, a pillow I made from an old linen corset bag, and my beloved ruffled shower curtain from none other than ANTHROPOLOGIE. Hi Shelley! Soul Sisters for Sure! My white Anthro ruffled shower curtain is a little different but fabulous too! Love your hemp and linen sheets...the ones I have almost all have red cross stitched initials....your monograms are wonderfully elegant! Thanks for sharing your collection!

ReplyDeleteI have spent way too much time looking at those linens...I have to move on but those are wonderful. I bought some when I was in Paris a couple of years ago but the monograms are not as nice as those. But you are right about the weight of European linens they have a wonderful hand to them. I also love that home sweet home pillow...that is made out of a nightgown? Did you make it?

Love that Home Sweet Home pillow. And I have a white ruffle shower curtain too. I wanted the one from Anthropologie so badly but it was more than I could spend. I finally found one on ebay and it's ruffled from top to bottom.
