PRINCE CHARMING
Now I have heard tales of things coming up through the commode, but til now they were just urban myths. Well ladies all I can say is TURN THE LIGHT ON!!!!! From now on at my house it's lids down...
No animals were hurt in this little production~~thank goodness Mr. Sweet Pea was home. Can you picture the chaos otherwise? Prince Charming is now outside where I hope he stays.
Hugs,
Shelley
oh gosh!!! i would not handle that well at all and i admit it... eek! and it sheds a whole new light on the "sweet pea" name, shelley!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

Shelley! I think I would have met my maker if I'd have not turned on the lights! Geez that thought gives me the creeps! This is such a cute and funny post, now I will never go to the bathroom without turning on the lights first!!!!
ReplyDelete;)
everything vintage
No!! I would have *really* flipped.
ReplyDeleteOMG...I just don't know what I would have done!!! love the pic...and have a great night!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing and too funny! I heard those urban legends for years and I've always felt a little silly when I put the lid down. No longer! A wild experience for you and Prince Charming!
ReplyDeleteLol...I guess it could have been worse! I keep a night light on in my bathroom. I don't want to sit on anything with 8 legs! Glad the hubby was home!
ReplyDelete~Patti
Yikes!! Can you imagine sitting on him? I'm always finding spiders so I always turn on the light.
ReplyDeleteOhhh Shelley-that's just to funny. I'm glad the prince sat still long enough to get his photo taken. You have proof-noone would have beleived you.
ReplyDeleteOMG...I would have freaked out. I can handle any other kinds of things from the outside, but frogs and toads are not on my list! Glad you turned the light on!
ReplyDeleteHugz,
Michele
Now, I just learned a lesson. Turn the lights on every time. Yes, I will be turning them on for sure. Have a nice weekend. Sandi
ReplyDeleteLOL, too funny! But I don't think I would've needed to (ahem) "use the facilities" any longer after seeing that! Still lol!
ReplyDeleteFunny you should post this today because... yesterday my honey pulled off his work boots & inside... a dead smashed salamander. How? When? ??? Life's mysteries. I guess we should both be happy it was frogs & salamanders & NOT A SNAKE! I've heard of snakes sneaking into homes. Ekkkkkkkkkkkk Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWhat will be coming up next? Garden snakes?? Yuuk!
ReplyDeleteNot even for sweet charity would I kiss that!
ReplyDeleteDebbie
I'm so for turning the light on I won't go further but it was BAAADD!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Lisa
Too funny! This looks like our home when my son was a kid...he loved frogs and toads. Theresa of Garden Antqs Vintage, http://gardenantqs.blogspot.com/ sent me to your posting after she read my birthday wish to my son.
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny!
ReplyDeleteI am new to your blog and enjoy it so much......what a cute and funny post, it's crazy the things that can happen to us, real life is so entertaining.......
ReplyDeleteTracey
OMG, I'm so glad you turned the light on first, Shelley!
ReplyDeleteLove this story, I am always on the look out for My Prince Charming, but not in the Potty.....
ReplyDeleteCheryl
He looks like a cute commical commode character, out of a book.lol!
ReplyDeleteSomething you might see in an
old chamber pot outside in a
garden, but not on your inside potty.
Seems things like this would
happen in an outhouse and not
indoor plumbing.
I heard a story when I was young
child about a snake once and ever
since I check before sitting down.
It is much healthier to put the lid down when flushing anyways. That way if you have a tooth brush out on the counter you won't be spreading germs on it.
God Bless You and Yours!!!
