So who doesn't love brown transferware, right? Well then you won't be surprised to see it on the list of my favorite things as well! I have been collecting platters, plates, bowls and butter pats (love love love butter pats!) for some time now and have developed a fairly sizeable collection. I especially go crazy for pieces with that beautiful mottled look. One of my fav pieces is the huge platter in the wall cabinet. I put a sweet oval frame in front of it for effect. Hope you will be inspired to start your own collection~~if you haven't already!
**Sorry but this is a personal collection and not for sale.
Shelly, I had to stop by and say hello and tell you what a good time we had at your sale I was even thrilled that my sister-in-law found a treasure. This is so not her thing, but it always starts with just one piece, and then your hooked, right? Your brown transferwaree is beautiful. I just love your collection. Thanks again, Everything was just beautiful. I hope I'm in town in the fall.
Your collection of the Transfer-ware is gorgeous, the aged-color looks perfect in the setting. Don't blame you for not selling any pieces...it be too difficult to break up this prize. See you again.
Hi Shell, I love everything in every picture and if you change your mind about selling it, please put my name on it!! Don't I get first dibs for being your absolutely best friend, ok, I know buttering up helps, right. See ya soon, T
I am so jealous of your brown transferware...I fell in love with it too late...the prices here are over my budget but I keep looking for the "bargain"....Your collection is wonderful - Judy
I wish I had the courage to keep the pieces I find, as I love their faded patinas...but I must save my space for those grungy pieces of taxidermy that clutter my halls...sooo me!!! LOL
I too collect brown transferware & I love your collection!
